ABOUT US

We are a UK based charity helping families in Ukraine affected by war in the east. The charity was founded in September 2014 by Iryna who is originally from Ukraine. With her strong connection to the country and its people she felt compelled to give something back and to help those whose lives had been turned upside down by the conflict.

Ultimately, the charity aims to help Ukrainians thrive by encouraging business development and introducing the cultural ideas of this beautiful country into Europe.

The charity started in a small way with events such as toy and book sale, children's craft afternoon and a carol concert. The funds raised and items donated have been used to provide food, clothing and toys for individual families in need. More than 20 individual families have been helped in the first four months of the charity's existence.

We have also been lucky enough to find a number of talented people in Ukraine who have helped us produce hand painted charity mugs which have proved very popular and we are now planning other items with our logo to raise funds.
